CDW executive named to BBB board of directors

VERNON HILLS - Mike Marty, director of customer experience for CDW Corp. in Vernon Hills, was recently elected to the board of directors for the Better Business Bureau serving Chicago and Northern Illinois.

"Our organization continues to be strong and successful because of the quality of the board members and their businesses. CDW Corporation is an example of this interest and support through it being a BBB Accredited Business for more than 26 years.

Better Business Bureau board members are responsible for overseeing the direction of the organization and its strategies, as well as conferring with the executives responsible for day-to-day operations of the BBB.

Marty has been with CDW for 17 years and is responsible for driving customer experience through the customer service call center, as well as an internal help desk function for the sales force. He holds an MBA from DePaul's Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, and a bachelor's of science in advertising from the University of Illinois.
