Tickets on sale for Ecker Center brunch benefit March 13

Tickets are now on sale for the "Wishes for Wellness" Chefs' Brunch to benefit Ecker Center for Mental Health in Elgin.

The third annual brunch will be noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 13, at The Haight, 166 Symphony Way, Elgin.

The Ecker Center serves the northern two-thirds of Kane County, as well as Hanover and Barrington townships in Cook County, with offices in Elgin, St. Charles and Streamwood.

The buffet brunch will feature signature dishes from 13 different chefs, restaurants and local suppliers including: Al's Café and Creamery in Elgin, Blue Box Café in Elgin, Chez Moi in Geneva, Cuisine America in Elgin, Culinary Fox Café in Elgin, Devanco Foods in Elk Grove Village, Eventastik Signature Events in Elgin, The Finery & Blacksmith Bar in St. Charles, Gammon Coach House in Batavia, Herb's Bakery in Elgin, Kilwins Chocolates in Geneva, Nosh in Geneva, and The Patten House in Geneva.

Chicago cellist Sarah Hansen will perform during the brunch. Also featured at the event will be a multi-gift raffle, wine grab, and a silent auction which includes a guided canoe tour for up to 24 people, tickets to high tea at the Drake Hotel, and a signed original Navajo sandpainting by artist Herman Tyler.

Founded in 1955, the Ecker Center for Mental Health provides an array of outpatient mental health services. Crisis, psychiatry and counseling services are available to adults, children and adolescents.
