Putting residents' interests first
Solving the many problems our state faces - out of control spending, the pension crisis, lack of term limits, loss of revenue from businesses and residences, etc. - can't be done with one simple solution. If the problems were easy to solve, they would have been solved by now.
By electing someone to office, we're hiring them to do a job and represent our interests, and we need to select the person who will best represent us. Dan Wilbrandt has a proven record of making decisions on the West Dundee Village Board that best serve his community.
As a fiscal conservative, he sometimes has had to vote against expenditures for improvements that sound attractive, but that would ultimately stretch our resources too thin. We need more people like Dan in Springfield - people who can make tough decisions. We need people who will put our interests first, not people who will spend and spend without thinking of how we will pay for it. It's not an easy job, but Dan Wilbrandt has what it takes to be our next Illinois State Representative.
