Consumers Credit Union Hosts 86th Annual Meeting

Waukegan, IL February 22, 2016: Consumers Credit Union (CCU; $905 Million, Waukegan, IL) will host its 86th Annual Meeting on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at KeyLime Cove Resort in Gurnee, IL. The meeting is open to Credit Union Members and invited guests, including local high school seniors, each who have earned one of six (6) $2,000.00 scholarships from Consumers Cooperative Association, CCU's sponsor. The meeting will also feature the election of four (4) Members to the Credit Union's Board of Directors.

The Annual Meeting agenda begins with a "welcome" from John R. Janezic, CCU's Chairman of the Board, and is followed by Sean Rathjen's presentation of the CEO Report, which details the Credit Union's financial performance in 2015. Those attending will have an opportunity to learn how CCU compares to other financial institutions on both a local and national level. Next on the agenda, CCU Members will vote for representation on the all-volunteer Board of Directors. Those unable to attend may vote in advance by proxy ballots, which are available at all nine (9) CCU locations and online at www.myconsumers.org.

Members who attend the meeting also have the chance to mix and mingle amongst themselves and enjoy a great meal, while the Credit Union expresses our sincere appreciation and gratitude for their business and loyal Membership."

The nominees for election to the Board include the following (listed alphabetically by last name, alongside city of residence; incumbents are identified with an "I" following their names): Ann Campanella (I), Gurnee IL; Richard Lynn, Deerfield, IL; Joseph Rajcevich (I), Waukegan, IL; Michael Raysakis, Grayslake, IL; Frank Soyka (I), Green Oaks, IL.

Approximately 300 Members and guests are expected to attend the meeting, held this year at KeyLime Cove Resort, 1700 Nations Dr. in Gurnee, IL. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m., with dinner at 6:30 p.m. 2015 Annual Reports will also be distributed at the meeting. Tickets are available at all CCU Service Centers for $15.00 on a first-come, first-served basis; no tickets will be sold at the door.
