Did we miss 'President Reagan Day'?
I just heard on television news that some lawmakers are considering making Aug. 5 "President Obama Day."
I definitely think we should reward him for raising the national debt from $10.6 trillion to an estimated $20 trillion.
We should do this holiday for a president who bailed out the banks that paid huge bonuses to their execs for going into bankruptcy.
The same banks we bailed out with our tax dollars who now are giving us less than a percent on our savings while charging us from 3.5 percent to 4 percent on loans.
This is their way of saying,"Thank you."
Maybe we should change our license plates to read, "Land of Obama."
Lincoln and Washington don't get separate holidays, it's now called,"Presidents Day."
And we have so much to thank him and his Democratic Party in our state for making it such a desirable place to live. After all, we are as solvent in our state as he is in his country.
Did I miss, "President Reagan Day"?
