Sue Slaughter Joins Woodlands Academy Board of Trustees

Sue Slaughter of Lake Bluff recently has joined the Board of Trustees for Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart.

She has a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Prior to business school, Slaughter worked for Deloitte & Touche in Cincinnati and also has worked in management consulting for A.T. Kearney after graduating from Kellogg.

Slaughter has been active in numerous charities and on several boards, including the Lake Forest chapter of the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago, the Mothers Trust Foundation, Open Arms Home for Children, South Africa, and the Lake Bluff PTO.

She and her husband, Steve, have four children, two of whom are students at Woodlands Academy, one at Lake Forest High School, and the fourth at Lake Bluff Elementary School.
