Harper College students to offer free ultrasounds

The Harper College Diagnostic Medical and Cardiac Sonography programs are offering free non-diagnostic ultrasounds that will be performed by students from Jan. 26 through early April by appointment only.

Students will be under the supervision of a registered diagnostic medical and cardiac sonographer, and each ultrasound will last about an hour. Echocardiograms of the heart and obstetric ultrasounds will be offered, and 2-D or 3-D images of the obstetric ultrasounds may be offered to participants.
