Center in Elk Grove benefits from Whole Foods program
Whole Foods Market Schaumburg has named Kenneth Young Center, based in Elk Grove Village, the beneficiary of its One Dime at a Time program during the first quarter of this year. The program provides an incentive to customers to elimate single-use plastic bags.
At the register, customers have the option to receive a 10 cent per bag refund as cash back for each single-use bag saved or they can donate the money to the designated not-for-profit group. Kenneth Young Center provides services to senior citizens and those with mental health issues.
