Jets' Fitzpatrick fully practices, Giacomini sits again

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) - New York Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick fully participated in practice after being limited Wednesday because of a sore thumb, elbow and lower back.

Neither Fitzpatrick nor coach Todd Bowles were concerned about the quarterback's availability for the Jets' game at Buffalo, but it eased any potential doubts to see him take part in all drills Thursday. Fitzpatrick's left thumb was surgically repaired last month after he tore a ligament, and he also dealt with soreness in his right elbow and back.

Meanwhile, right tackle Breno Giacomini (ankle) sat out practice for the second straight day. Giacomini, whose right ankle and foot were tightly wrapped, says he believes he'll be ready to play. Brent Qvale is his backup.

Running back Bilal Powell (ankle) and tight end Kellen Davis (foot) also sat out.
