Field of Dreams Horse Rescue and Adoption receives $2,500 grant

Field of Dreams Horse Rescue and Adoption is tremendously grateful to the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley for its recent $2,500 grant contribution.

With this generous grant, the nonprofit volunteer organization is able to purchase four new solar water tanks for the rescue horses. The horses are turned outdoors daily and having the solar tanks will be invaluable in providing the rescues with access to fresh water during the cold winter months.

The generosity of the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley helps Field of Dreams Horse Rescue and Adoption fulfill its commitment to educate people on the plight of unwanted horses and to help horses that are in between homes to be healthy in mind, body and spirit.

The Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley is a nonprofit philanthropic organization based in Aurora, that administers individual charitable funds from which grants and scholarships are distributed to benefit the citizens of the Greater Aurora Area, the Tri-Cities and Kendall County.
