Jaguars' Posluszny cleared to practice with broken hand

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Jacksonville Jaguars middle linebacker Paul Posluszny has been cleared to practice with a broken hand.

Posluszny had surgery last Wednesday to repair his right hand, which he broke in three places against Tennessee on Nov. 19. The Jaguars (5-8) believe he might play this week against Atlanta with his hand heavily wrapped.

Posluszny missed his second game of the season last week against Indianapolis. The ninth-year pro also sat out against Tampa Bay with an ankle injury in October.

Posluszny ranks second on the team with 104 tackles this season, trailing Telvin Smith. Posluszny also has two interceptions.
