Bears place safety Rolle on injured reserve with knee injury

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) - Chicago Bears safety Antrel Rolle will miss the remainder of the season because of a sprained right knee.

The Bears placed Rolle on injured reserve on Monday. An 11-year veteran, he suffered a sprained medial collateral ligament in practice last month and has not played since Nov. 15.

The three-time Pro Bowl safety appeared in seven games after signing with Chicago in March. He has 26 interceptions with the Arizona Cardinals and New York Giants. With Rolle going on IR, the Bears reinstated offensive tackle Tayo Fabuluje to the 53-man roster after having an exemption for him last week.

Coach John Fox said defensive back Sherrick McManis suffered concussion symptoms after Sunday's loss to Washington and receiver Marquess Wilson had foot surgery.
