Quadruple Sound Healing event to benefit for Lazarus House
On Sunday, Dec. 20, the Prana Yoga Center, 321 Stevens St., Suite C in Geneva, will hold a Quadruple Sound Healing Event & Benefit for Lazarus House from 6 to 7 p.m.
Join this restorative sound healing event featuring four artists - Susan Tauster, Yolanda Lozano, Jenny Bergold and Mike McGuigan - who will combine the soothing and transformative sounds of metal gongs, crystal singing bowls, metal Tibetan bowls, chimes, and more.
The sound waves from these instruments have the ability to help calm the central nervous system and elicit a deep relaxation on a psychic and cellular level.
The cost of admission is a donation to the needs of Lazarus House and 100 percent of proceeds from this event will benefit Lazarus House, a homeless shelter in St. Charles.
Lazarus House current needs include: fall and winter clothing (new items only) for men, women and children in small to extra large, sweatpants and sweatshirts, underwear, sweat socks; sample-sized toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo and hand or body lotion, as well as body soap, baby wipes, diapers (size 4 pullups); tea and hot chocolate mix (primarily in winter), bottled water, coffee creamer, sugar, salt, pepper, coffee, coffee filters, and Zip-lock bags (gallon, quart or sandwich), salad dressings (ranch, French, Thousand Island), chicken noodle soup, dishwashing liquid, 12 oz. Styrofoam (or hot/cold) cups, paper or Styrofoam plates and bowls, plastic forks, spoons, knives, napkins, extra wide aluminum foil, Saran Wrap, Pam or any oil spray, and small or large aluminum pans.
This event does not require registration. Arrive 20 minutes early on a first-come basis.
