Morgan/Harbour to build Presence Health medical facility

ROMEOVILLE - Morgan/Harbour Construction has been selected to build a new 28,928 square foot medical office building for Presence Health Group at 500 S. Weber Road in Romeoville.

The new Presence Senior Healing Arts Pavilion will include a full imaging suite with MRI, CT, X-Ray, mammogram, ultrasound and bone density capabilities. Woodridge-based Morgan/Harbour will construct 26 exam and procedure rooms, physical therapy training facilities, labs, treatment rooms/bays and private offices.

The center will also feature a cafe, community and group therapy rooms as well as a hotel-like concierge lobby with high-end finishes throughout. The brick and metal structure will also include a three-story dramatic glass curtain wall tower entrance with large porte-cochere at the main entry. The site will also feature a parking area, radiant heated sidewalks and extensive site lighting.

Hammes Company is the project manager on behalf of the developer and owner, affiliate Hammes Partners, a private equity fund focused on health care real estate.

Ben Warriner, executive vice president of Morgan / Harbour is the project executive for Morgan / Harbour Construction, with Scott Staros as senior project manager and Amy DePinto as project manager. Jensen & Halstead, Ltd. is providing the architectural services.

Construction of the new medical office building is expected to be finished in late summer 2016.
