Batavia post thanks for 'Yanks' gifts
The Batavia American Legion Post 504 wishes to thank all of the residents who donated generously during its "Gifts for Yanks" collection dates Nov. 7 and 8.
All of the proceeds will go towards purchasing Christmas presents to those senior veterans living in our local nursing and retirement homes.
Also as an additional note, all of the leftover candy that was distributed during the collection period has been donated to the Batavia Park District for it's programs.
