No proof of CO2, climate change
Mr. Teune, GOP can't fix what isn't. Man made global warming isn't science, it's an unproven theory. When the UN/IPCC hoaxers, and the chicken littles of the world realized that the climate wasn't getting warmer at the rate they imagined, they changed from global warming to climate change.
Twelve thousand years ago, there was a huge glacier here. It melted because the world got warmer. Mankind wasn't around yet to cause it and I don't think creatures like ardipithecus or australopithecus knew how to make fire; so they couldn't have caused it. It must have been the Sun that made it go away.
The amount of CO2 is less than 400 ppm (.0004 or 4/100th of 1 percent) of total atmospheric gasses. Even so, core samples from polar ice, ocean floors, and the earth show no direct correlation between CO2 and temperatures going back thousands of years. There are more natural carbon emissions from volcanoes, forest fires, etc. than man creates.
Native Americans once believed that the Earth rested on the back of a turtle. We once believed that the Earth was flat and the Sun revolved around it. Today, some people believe they can affect the climate.
There is no positive proof that carbon dioxide causes climate change. When there is proof, I'll join you. But until then, the lunacy ball is in your court.
