McHenry man's death ruled a drowning

A missing McHenry man who was found in the Fox River Tuesday died from drowning.

McHenry County Coroner Anne Majewski said in a news release on Wednesday that an autopsy done on Roger T. Little, 69, found no signs of trauma or foul play.

Little, who was described as mentally challenged, was last seen on Monday at 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of North Villa Lane and West Washington Park in McHenry.

He was reported missing by his brother, who lived with him on the 2800 block of North Villa Lane. His body was found after emergency officials searched the area on Monday and Tuesday.
