Presto! Holiday Concert: Dec. 19

On Saturday, December 19, the Schaumburg Youth Symphony Orchestra and Schaumburg Youth Choir will present the Presto! Holiday Concert. This holiday show will combine the music of the season with short vignettes and narration between numbers to create a memorable experience. Performances will be held at 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and will feature the award-winning Schaumburg Youth Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Joseph Malmquist and the Schaumburg Youth Choir under the direction of Michael VanCamp. The program includes music of Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Mozart, Wagner, along with a host of popular carols.

Tickets for the Presto! Holiday Concert are $25 ($15 for students and seniors) and can be ordered online at www.prairiecenter.org or by calling 847-895-3600. The Prairie Center is located at 201 Schaumburg Ct., Schaumburg, IL.
