Accessory deals draw West Dundee friends to Aurora outlets

With 50 percent off the entire store, Vera Bradley at Chicago Premium Outlets in Aurora beckoned on Black Friday morning for Josie Nason and Sydney Goll of West Dundee.

"I got a little travel bag and a wallet," Nason said.

"I got these," Goll said, showing off colorful, quilted luggage tags, "for everyone in my family."

Other stores called for the friends' attention, too, and deals at Aerie, American Eagle and New York and Company kept them festive. Goll said they even remained "in the mood of Christmas" while waiting in a slowly moving line outside Michael Kors as a chilly drizzle fell.

"It's fun," Nason said. "It's something to do to work off the turkey dinner."
