New rose signs to be placed on Rosemont village hall

Rosemont will be installing its village rose symbol on both sides of the village hall building.

A new large rose will be placed on the west side of the building at 9501 E. Devon Ave., facing the Tri-State Tollway, in place of an old one that had been removed. A smaller rose will be attached to the east side of the building. It is being refurbished after sitting in storage after formerly being used at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center.

The two roses, both backlit with LED lighting, and "Village of Rosemont" lettering under them, will cost $32,035 to install and electrically connect.
