Small business seminar set at McHenry County College

CRYSTAL LAKE - Registration is under way for The Illinois Small Business Development Center's "Starting a Business in Illinois," scheduled for 6-8 p.m. Dec. 1 at the McHenry County College Shah Center, 4100 W. Shamrock Lane, McHenry. The two-hour seminar provides information for pre-venture entrepreneurs considering starting a business in Illinois. Multiple aspects of business ownership will be discussed including the legal aspects of starting a business in Illinois, the importance of a business plan. Participants will receive handouts with listings of agencies to contact as resources. Fee is $35.
