Schaumburg public transportation survey now available

The Village of Schaumburg is seeking general information about the community's use of public transportation in Schaumburg to determine needs and possible changes to services provided. The public is asked to take a brief online survey at goo.gl/forms/rcAqslzuNm.

The survey seeks to obtain information about the community's public transportation habits, as well as learn more about what riders want in service options to determine how services might be improved to increase ridership.

The village is conducting the survey in part to engage the community so that it can identify ways to improve transit awareness, which was an initiative identified from the 2014 National Citizen Survey.

For those who prefer to fill out the survey by hand, paper copies of surveys will be available in the Transportation Department in the lower level of the Robert O. Atcher Municipal Center, 101 Schaumburg Court, Schaumburg.

For questions regarding the survey, contact Transportation Manager Richard Bascomb at rbascomb@villageofschaumburg.com or (847) 923-3862.

All survey responses are due by Friday, Dec. 18.
