Men and women make up Congress

This is in reply to the Nov. 5 letter, "What if men were having babies."

The writer does not provide reliable facts and sources of information to substantiate her statements.

Congress is made of men and women and Republicans and Democrats. They were elected by their constituents. Therefore it is not wrong for Republican men to be members of Congress. Abortion is wrong. It takes the life of an innocent person.

Planned Parenthood's 2013-2014 annual report states that taxpayer funding accounts for 41 percent of their overall revenue. That amount of money would go far to alleviate suffering of families in poverty.

Men don't want to have babies because our creator didn't design their bodies for that purpose.

An abortion clinic on every corner? That would not be practical. How would the clinics be funded? Who will be around to staff them?

Genesis 2:7 which says life begins when you begin to breathe refers to Adam and Eve. After that every person has a biological father mother and grows in the womb of the mother.

Churches get a tax exemption. Churches do not receive tax funding. If they did, the ACLU is falling down on the job. I find that hard to believe.
