A way to recoup Gliniewicz misdeeds?

I don't want to sound like scrooge, but I would hope that Fox Lake would use Officer Gliniewicz's pension to at least help to pay some of ridiculous cost of his suicide on the taxpayers and the effect on the innocent schoolchildren who came to pray for him.

Then the lady who made up the story of seeing the three ficticious assailants can chip in as well.
