I got a good laugh from your Nov. 7 Soapbox.

You stated that "we" all thought GI Joe was a hero and Kaner was a villain. Wrong. You did.

Every picture and article of that grinning goon in your paper was sensationalized bs. His story didn't add up from the beginning. You were duped.

You chose the most crestfallen picture of Kane to repeatedly pound a story with no merit. Cheap shot to unsubstantiated allegations.

Now, when the truth is revealed, your mea culpa comes with an all inclusive "we".

No, the lesson is yours. You influence people's beliefs and owe a responsibility to all because of it. Pitiful reporting. Wipe the egg off your face and look in the mirror.
