Eagles lose rookie linebacker Jordan Hicks for the season
PHILADELPHIA (AP) - The Eagles placed rookie linebacker Jordan Hicks on season-ending injured reserve after he tore his left pectoral tendon late in the fourth quarter Sunday night.
The third-round pick was having an outstanding season. He intercepted Matt Cassel's pass and returned it 67 yards for a touchdown for his second pick this season during a 33-27 overtime win at Dallas.
Hicks also had three fumble recoveries, one forced fumble and his only sack broke Tony Romo's collarbone in Week 2.
