Harper College to host Veterans Entrepreneurship Day Thursday

Harper College will host its first Veterans Entrepreneurship Day Thursday.

The event, organized to help veterans in their entrepreneurial endeavors, is set to include a panel of veteran business owners, a business expo and a networking event.

"Starting a business takes a lot of hard work and persistence, and no group embodies those qualities more than veterans," said Marie Lapidus, coordinator of Harper's business administration and entrepreneurship programs.

The event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, at Harper's Wojcik Conference Center.
