Thanks for help with Peanut Days

The Kiwanis Club of Lombard thanks the many people who generously supported our annual Peanut Days. Their generosity empowers the club to serve the children of Lombard and around the world.

Donations to Kiwanis Peanut Days help the Kiwanis Club of Lombard fund scholarships for high school seniors and support such community efforts as the Lombard-Villa Park Food Pantry, Lombard Fire Department's Trauma Teddy program, First Things First, Healthy Lombard and more.

This year, the Kiwanis Club of Lombard partnered with Operation Support Our Troops to ship cases of Kiwanis peanuts to our troops abroad. A portion of the donations during Peanut Days will allow us to send Kiwanis peanuts - a token of our support - to our military personnel serving around the world.

We appreciate Ultra Foods, Jewel-Osco and Schroeder's Ace Hardware allowing us access to their storefronts for collections.

A very special thank you to our Peanut Days underwriters: Fireside Restaurant, Flint Architects, LLC, Reid Foltyniewicz, Mike and Margie Fugiel, Cianarious's Pizza and Pasta, Sue Linden, Lombard Veterminary Hospital, Mary Beth Lynch, Thomas J. Masterson & Co., Eileen Mueller, NEDSRA-Karen Lesniak, Pet Chef Express, sorensen Heating & Cooling, Randy Stob Inc., Jim Tumpane, Kenneth Vandebroucke, Carole Webber, Steve Wilk Insurance. Ken and Jay Wojcik.

During Peanut Days, so many individuals and businesses showed why Lombard is a great community - we work together to help others. Thank you to everyone who supported Kiwanis Club of Lombard's Peanut Days.
