Joshua Anderson named associate VP of operations of Covenant Retirement Communities

CHICAGO, Oct. 28, 2015 - Chicago-based Covenant Retirement Communities (CRC), one of the nation's largest nonprofit senior services providers, announced today that Joshua Anderson has been appointed associate vice president of operations.

In his new position, Anderson is entrusted to oversee and support the company's 12 continuing care retirement communities in eight states, and ensure the campuses model operational policies and practices. Anderson will be based out of the corporate headquarters in Skokie, Ill.

Anderson was educated and raised in the Evangelical Covenant Church environment. He has worked for CRC for 16 years in a variety of operational roles at Covenant Village of Florida, Covenant Village of Golden Valley, Covenant Village of Northbrook and The Holmstad, where he served as the executive director. There, he moved the community from 80 percent to 90 percent occupancy at all levels of care, in addition to overseeing 53 residences of the CRC rental community Geneva Place.

"I have always been committed to Covenant Retirement Communities and its dedication to the senior population," says Anderson. "When I worked at the campus level, I enjoyed helping residents through a difficult time in their lives. Now as associate vice president of operations, I have an opportunity to help even more individuals as I manage executive leadership at each campus, ensuring we are delivering excellent service and care."

"Josh's lengthy tenure at Covenant Retirement Communities and his deep understanding of the mission of the Evangelical Covenant Church make him the ideal leader to oversee the executive staff at all of our campuses," says Terri Cunliffe, chief executive officer at Covenant Retirement Communities. "His dedication, loyalty, and drive to further the mission of this organization will only serve to benefit the development of staff, and ultimately, the residents in our communities."

Anderson earned a bachelor of business administration from North Park University in Chicago, Ill. He and his wife, Christine, have twin 4-year-old daughters.
