Girls volleyball: Vernon Hills subdues Senn

Vernon Hills d. Senn: At DePaul College Prep, Vernon Hills swept Senn, 25-20, 25-18 to advance to the regional semifinals today against Antioch.

Also at DePaul, host DePaul defeated North Chicago, 25-6, 25-5. DePaul will face Regina Dominican today.

Highland Park d. Mundelein: At Lake Zurich, Highland Park swept Mundelein, 25-21, 25-22.

For Mundelein, Monika Bowser had a team-high 5 kills and tied teammate Amanda Bogseth with a team-high 3 blocks.

Setter Mackenzie Linane had 7 assists and Tess Pribyl led the defense with 9 digs.

Highland Park will play top-seeded Libertyville today.

Zion-Benton d. Round Lake: At Zion-Benton, the host Zee-Bees swept Round Lake 25-22, 25-12.

Zion-Benton will host No. 2 Stevenson today.
