Longtime Huntley couple to be interviewed by historical society
The Huntley Historical Society will interview both William Eisenmenger and his wife, Beverly Heine Eisenmenger, at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, in the Willow Room at the Cosman Center, 12015 Mill St.
The oral history interviews will be conducted by board member Dawn Ellison and taped by board member Mark Skaja. Beverly grew up on a farm in an area that is now known as Sun City Huntley. She was a beloved schoolteacher and taught every grade between kindergarten and high school. William was on the Huntley village board, taught driver's education to students in Huntley, taught junior high subjects for 14 years, and was one of the founders of the Sun City's Railroad Club.
Everyone in the community is invited to attend. No reservations are necessary.
