Meet puppies for adoption at Westfield Hawthorn mall Oct. 24

Westfield Hawthorn shopping center and Animal Education and Rescue are hosting a "puppy pop-up" from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, in honor of National Adopt-A-Dog month.

Visitors can play with and meet dogs in need of a loving home and begin the adoption process. The event will be held at GAP court at the mall, routes 60 and 21 in Vernon Hills.
