Schaumburg man charged after September robbery of Lisle Dunkin' Donuts

A Schaumburg resident was taken into custody Tuesday by Lisle police after a September robbery of a Dunkin' Donuts in Lisle, Lisle police said.

Daniel Marziani, 29, of the 1500 block of Somerset Lane, entered the Dunkin' Donuts at 1109 Maple Ave. at 6:48 p.m. Sept. 17 and demanded cash from the store clerk, police said.

The store clerk complied, giving Marziani $400, and Marziani left the store, police said.

Lisle police, with assistance from the Downers Grove Police Department, identified Marziani as the suspect while investigating the case, police said.

Marziani was taken Tuesday to the DuPage County jail and was later turned over to the DuPage County sheriff's office.

Marziani is facing one charge of robbery, among other charges. He has not yet posted the $11,665 needed to be released.
