Harper to welcome hundreds of families for Open House

High school juniors and seniors - along with their parents - are invited to see why more than a third of area graduates turn to Harper College to begin their journey in higher education.

Hundreds are expected to attend the Open House, which runs from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, in the Wojcik Conference Center on the college's main campus, 1200 W. Algonquin Road in Palatine. Convenient parking is located in Lot 14.

Prospective students and their families can engage with a distinguished faculty panel about academic programs and possible career options; learn about scholarships and how to apply for financial aid; learn more about earning college credit during high school; and get more information about the Phi Theta Kappa honors society, world languages, study abroad programs and other opportunities.

Check-in takes place from 4 to 5 p.m. and the program will start promptly at 5 p.m.

For information or to RSVP, visit harpercollege.edu and search Open House, or call Admissions Outreach at (847) 925-6700.
