Armed teachers could protect students

After hearing about the tragedy at the community college in Oregon, wouldn't it make sense to allow all teachers to conceal and carry in the classroom?

If it saves just one life, it is worth it.

Potential future shooters may think twice if they know that many teachers may be armed.

Why didn't Obama suggest this instead of wasting my time listening to his do-nothing news conference after the shooting.
