Kahne, Harvick top final speed charts at Dover

DOVER, Del. (AP) - With rain wreaking havoc on the Dover schedule, Kevin Harvick and Kasey Kahne topped the speed charts Saturday in the final practices.

Harvick, who likely needs to win Sunday to advance to the next round in the Chase for the Sprint Cup championship, topped the final practice at 156.033 mph.

He was fourth at 159.964 in the No. 4 Chevrolet for Stewart-Haas Racing in the first session.

It's the first cutoff race of the Chase and the bottom four drivers of the 16 in the field will be eliminated from championship contention. Chase drivers took nine of the top 10 spots on the speed chart in the final practice for the second race in NASCAR's playoffs.

Kahne topped the morning practice at 160.506 as both sessions where shortened by rain. Rain wiped out practice and qualifying on Friday.

The field was set on points and Matt Kenseth will start first Sunday.
