One person injured in rollover accident in Fox Lake

One person was injured in a rollover accident on Route 173 near Wilmot Road in Fox Lake early Friday.

Lake County Sheriff Det. Christopher Covelli said the victim suffered minor, nonlife threatening injuries and was taken to an area hospital.

The 6 a.m. crash remains under investigation, he said.

The road was blocked for about an hour while the accident was cleaned up. It reopened about 6:55 a.m., Covelli said.

No citations have been issued in the accident.
