Bartlett resident charged after police find cannabis, grow area in home
A Bartlett resident is facing charges after police found 900 grams of cannabis, hash oil and a grow area in his home, police said in a news release Friday.
Kyle Lubera, 18, of the 200 block of Jackson Court is being charged with one felony count of possession of cannabis and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police responded to a 911 call 6:30 Tuesday night reporting three people wearing dark clothing near an open sliding door at Lubera's residence, according to the release.
Upon arrival, police discovered evidence of a break-in. While searching for possible offenders, police found the grow area, along with the cannabis, hash oil and $700 in cash in one of the bedrooms, according to police.
Police investigated the grow area and charged Lubera, a resident of the home, on Wednesday.
