Schweikher House tours on Oct. 10

The Schweikher House Preservation Trust invites the public to tour the 1938 Paul Schweikher home and studio in Schaumburg, a Modernist home listed on the National Register of Historic Places and one of the top 150 architectural sites in Illinois.

Guided tours of the house, studio and grounds will be offered on Saturday, Oct. 10. The 40-minute tours will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 645 S. Meacham Road in Schaumburg.

The cost of a tour is $25 per person, paid in advance of the event, with a maximum of 12 people per tour.
