We lose rights when religion eliminated

With regard to the letter "Best of all worlds with no religion," written by Theodore M. Utchen, published in Your Views on Sept. 5:

We have seen clearly in the 20th century the result of the repression and attempts to eliminate religion by Adolf Hitler in Germany and before him by Josef Stalin in Russia and Communist regimes in Asia from 1949 to the present.

Individual human rights do not exist at all!
