We should give term limits a try

Being mature adults, why can't we consider putting "term limits" for our legislators on the ballot?

That way, everyone would have a chance to express their opinion. It's very unfortunate that the legislators are solely in control of their own destiny. That's like having the fox guard the henhouse. Do we really believe someone like Mike Madigan is going to vote himself out of a job?

Our government was meant to represent all of the people, not just a few. Term limits is the only fair way we will be able to get a chance to balance our budget and rotate "the stock." Let's try it, and see what the people really want.
