Mount Prospect Downtown Merchants Association Oktoberfest: Oct. 9 & 10
Join the Mount Prospect Downtown Merchants Association for their annual Fall Fest and Oktoberfest - with an additional day (Friday) added this year - October 9 and 10. Both events will be held at the intersection of Emerson Street and Busse Ave. in Downtown Mount Prospect.
The Oktoberfest event will kick off on Friday evening, October 9 from 4:00 - 11:00 p.m. Live entertainment (in the heated tent) will get the party going while you enjoy your favorite traditional German food and beverages.
This year's featured beers include Hacker Pschorr Oktoberfest and local craft brewer Scorched Earth's Cream Ale. Mrs. P and Me and Central Continental Bakery will be serving authentic German food along with Completely Nuts.
Friday night's entertainment lineup includes Jak Tripper from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m and The Good Mondays from 8:30 - 11:00 p.m.
On Saturday, October 10, the day begins with the Fall Festival, one of the best FREE fall family events in the suburbs. Fall Festival activities and entertainment will run from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. The fun will include hay rides, pony rides, bounce houses, pumpkin decorating, crafts and balloons, stilt walkers, AND the FAMOUS never-ending trick or treat candy line!
Immediately following the Fall Festival, stick around for the party to kick into high gear with another night of Oktoberfest, from 4:00 - 11:00 p.m. Saturday evening will feature Phenix German Band, performing from 6 p.m. - 11 p.m. under the heated tent. It will be guaranteed Gemutlichkeit (Good Times) for all!
Parking for the event is available in the Village Hall Parking Garage located at 50 S. Emerson Street and plenty of additional parking is located throughout downtown Mount Prospect.

The Mount Prospect Downtown Merchants Association (MPDMA) is a non-profit organization run by an all-volunteer Board that strives to spread awareness of all that downtown Mount Prospect has to offer.
