Get tickets by Sept. 20 for Casey's Safe Haven BBQ fundraiser
Join the fourth annual "Galloping to the Rescue Down on the Farm" barbecue fundraiser from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at The Gorgeous Rustic Road Farm, 1N292 Brundige Road in Elburn.
It will feature a home-cooked barbecue buffet by Dave's Slow Food (gluten-free options available), DJ music and dancing, wine and beer, 50/50 raffle, and raffle prizes. Rustic Road Farm's organic farmers market will be open too.
You'll have the opportunity to have your photo taken with Petunia the donkey as well as meet a few of the rescue ponies at Casey's Safe Haven.
There is a limited number of tickets available, so purchase early!
All tickets must be purchased by Sunday, Sept. 20. Tickets are $50 or $15 for age 6-15. It is free for age 5 and under. All tickets include food, drinks and music.

Casey's Safe Haven is a holistic equine rescue which operates solely on donations. They need your help as funds are low after taking in three special-need equines this past winter. All proceeds of this event will go directly to help cover expenses associated with the continued care and rehabilitation of these precious rescued equine guests. It takes a village!
