ATI Physical Therapy Opens New Clinic in Addison
ATI Physical Therapy is excited to announce the opening of its 143rd Illinois location in Addison, Illinois. The new clinic, which opened on September 8, is conveniently located at 500 W. Lake Street next to the Addison VFW, and will offer residents access to physical therapy, sports medicine, vestibular therapy and workers' compensation services from the nation's leading provider.
Maureen Tolemy, DPT, ATC, has been named Clinic Director at the new location. She attended Northern Illinois University, completing her undergraduate degree in athletic training and sports medicine in 2011. Maureen continued her education at NIU, earning her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2014. Additionally, she is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), holds a certification in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and is currently completing training for vestibular rehabilitation. An eight-year veteran of ATI, Maureen enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic conditions, with a special interest in orthopedic injuries, pre and post-surgical knees, shoulders and backs, vestibular/balance therapy, orthopedic pediatrics, sports injuries and equestrian injuries.
As friends and neighbors, ATI treats all patients like family, providing individualized treatment plans and hands-on care, all in a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere. First appointments are scheduled within 24-48 hours, and early morning and evening hours are available to accommodate patient schedules. Rehabilitation services include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, sports-specific training, and therapeutic modalities, such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
"From the minute our patients walk through the front door, it's our mission to be the highlight of their day," said Lucas Meyer, Senior Regional Director for ATI Physical Therapy. "Each patient is paired with a dedicated therapist chosen specifically for their rehabilitative needs, and their treatment plan is created for those needs. If you're experiencing any aches or pains, give Maureen a call and schedule a complimentary screening."
ATI accepts virtually all major insurance carriers, verifies patient benefits prior to the start of treatment and offers individualized payment plans. Unique to the industry, ATI's dedicated in-house research department aims to improve patient outcomes through basic science, research and evidence-based medicine. This includes the ATI Patient Outcomes Registry, a collection of data that supports an innovative approach to physical therapy that improves awareness of patient outcomes and how the rehabilitative process can impact patients' quality of life.
ATI has received many local, regional and national accolades for its commitment to quality care. The company was named "Best Physical Therapy Company in the Nation" by ADVANCE Rehab Magazine, and has achieved URAC core accreditation recognizing its commitment to quality healthcare. As a way to give back to the communities in which its patients and employees live, work and serve, ATI established the ATI Foundation in 2007. The ATI Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides resources and funding to children with physical impairments.
