Hultgren needs to get rid of Boehner

I must honestly say that I am very disappointed U.S. Rep. Randy Hultgren's response to my letter about requesting the removal of John Boehner as speaker of the House of Representatives.

Boehner has been a poor example of a leader. He is a divisive man who has no tolerance for conservative members within the Republican party. He has insulted conservatives, and recently called a conservative U.S. Senator a "jackass."

Boehner does not respect the will of the people nor the U.S. Constitution. He gravitates toward special interests and is a bully, especially to freshmen congressmen.

Boehner does not implement the "checks-and-balances" provision granted to the U.S. House, and has surrendered many duties given to the House, including the power of the purse. He appears intimidated by Barack Obama's demands, and he refuses to take on Obama's misuse of executive orders.

Boehner is not a leader; he is a failure. He is an ogre and a coward.

If Hultgren truly represents the best interests of the 14th District, he will act responsibly and work diligently to remove Boehner as speaker.
