Grandparents' Day Mass & Open House

On September 4th, grandparents were welcomed into the Parish Center by the eighth grade National Junior Honor Society students and ushered to seats where their grandchildren would soon come to join them for the school's 7th Annual Grandparents' Day Mass and Open House.

Father Matt celebrated the Mass and preached about how fast time goes by and to enjoy every minute with their children and grandchildren, while electronic devices are out of reach! At the end of Mass, Mr. and Mrs. McGrath, who have two SJS alum and 3 grandchildren at Saint James School; Adam and Matthew Mysza (8th grade) and Derek (3rd grade), addressed the congregation. They spoke about how Catholic education forms the "whole person" and how well Saint James School prepares graduates for high school and for life.

It was a beautiful day to show appreciation and thanks to grandparents and parents for the gift of Catholic education.
