2 ounces brandy, preferably cognac

1 ounce triple sec

1 ounce fresh lemon juice

Sugar

Orange twist

Rim cocktail glass with sugar. Fill cocktail shaker ¾ full with ice.

Add all liquid ingredients to shaker, shake well. Strain into chilled cocktail glass.

Garnish with orange peel, serve.
