Demerara Syrup

½ cup turbinado sugar

¼ water, just off the boil

Stir ingredients in glass measuring cup until sugar is fully dissolved

Pour into syrup bottle and store in refrigerator for up to one month.

Note: To make simple syrup, substitute turbinado sugar with sugar.
