Kirk, DiCianni to speak in Schaumburg Aug. 22

U.S. Sen. Mark Kirk and DuPage County Board member Pete DiCianni will be the guest speakers at the Schaumburg Township Republican Organization's monthly breakfast at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, at Chandler's Chophouse, 401 N. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.

Kirk is seeking re-election in 2016, while DiCianni is a potential candidate for U.S. representative for the 8th District.

The organization also will hold a Republican presidential straw poll at the breakfast.

To help defray the cost of the hot breakfast buffet, a $10 contribution from members and a $15 contribution from nonmembers is sought. Annual memberships may be purchased online at stgop.org or at the event.
