Advocate Condell Medical Center raises $68,000 for new ultrasound equipment at the 34th Annual Golf Open

Nearly 130 golfers attended Advocate Condell Medical Center's 34th Annual Golf Open recently at Ivanhoe Club in Mundelein and raised about $68,000 to purchase new ultrasound equipment for Condell's Emergency Department.

As Lake County's only Level I Trauma Center, Condell's expansive, state-of-the-art emergency department provides the highest standards of lifesaving care to more than 50,000 patients each year.

The new ultrasound technology ensures emergency patients are triaged, diagnosed and treated as safely and efficiently as possible.

The ultrasound equipment purchase was also made possible due to the following event top sponsors: Best Practices Inpatient Care, Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgical Associates SC, Gilcor Construction, Lake County Radiology Associates SC, Medical Staff of Advocate Condell Medical Center, Murphy Ambulance, Pulmonary Medicine Associates SC, Schachner Family and Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Service Inc.
